I can't believe no one has started our yearly Raceland/Open Thread yet. This has become a rivalry game with the series grid locked at 0-0-10. Someone is going to get first win eventually, but who will it be?

We can't have a poll, there was a big fight last year due to the poll results. The "Open" fans are very passionate about their team.

I've watched Open play this year a few times, but I don't see them winning tonight.It looks like they're going split squad and playing several teams across the state. With the talent spread out, I'd say they should hope for a tie!

Good point, but they have done it quite a bit over the years and still came out with the tie. They have great numbers and usually have players that match our skill evenly at every position. Open's coach, Coach Notreallythere, has really brought the program along. They are very consistent.

I actually heard this is a pivotal game for opens coach. The retractors are saying he can't seem to win the big game.

Yes, and they recruit heavily and literally play no one! Their wins seem "empty". :walk:

I'm going to say Open's coach will be gone after this season. The alumni are not to happy about his performance on the field.

And there was that issue with the female student. Paper said the relationship was Open.
