Wow, these types of comments are a good way to get players injured. Words of hatred usually spark actions of hatred, and those actions will be directed at the high school boys, not their coaches. Please consider that in your posts.

 

I think the thread is about whether Trinity would throw a couple extra scores on the board, not whether they will be looking to harm players.

I watched Scott County up close and personal last week against my son's team Tates Creek. They are everything that they are cracked up to be. They have a great combination of skill, speed, defense, and very good coaching. Scott County will go as far as they can in the playoffs barring injury until they play Trinity. After first hand witnessing Tates Creek play #4 Butler, #2 Ryle, and #3 Scott County, you can clearly see that Scott County was the best of these teams. I have no affinity for Scott County at all, but the truth is the truth, they are simply a very good football team.

 

They have a very strong backfield with a very smart and heady QB. Very good skill positions, and a stout defense. The score disparity is not as much about the weakness of the schedule, but more indicative of how good they are defensively. Just a very good football team. The only chink in the armor that I saw is that they don't throw the ball particularly well. They only 68 passing yards. But a very strong team.

They do not have the horses to win it I think they can make the finals game but I also think they do not get tested on a weekly basis which will haunt them in the playoffs, maybe second or third round. They always schedule cupcakes out of district.

They didn't pass a lot against TC, but it would be a mistake for any team to ovelook Scott County's passing game. Lawler averages 50-60 passing yards per quarter and has a strong arm. That gets masked by how early the starting offense has been getting pulled. The second offense goes in as soon as they hit a running clock and then Scott County sticks mostly to a ground game. Lawler to Daniels has been a very effective weapon.

Scott Co has played what equates to a Freshman schedule. Until they play someone other than a girls lacrosse team no one will know how good they are.

 

That said I'm a little disappointed in the T supports comments.
