Boone doesn't play Ryle twice, Boone has Conner, Campbell, CovCath, and Cooper left.

My thinking is this, if Dixie runs the table they have to be in. If Boone wins out they will be in end of story. If Boone does lose again I guess the Highlands/CCH game will probably determine the other team in the finals.

Do Dixe and Highlands play?

Ryle plays Dixie twice, not Boone.

Dixie plays highlands this wednesday at Dixie.

Ryle plays Dixie twice, not Boone.

Ryle has Cov Cath, Copper, Highlands, Dixie left to play, agree not sure if both games count or one, I believe last year first game didn't count ...But the way Ryle has been playing, no more injuries, The young Raiders will have some say in who will be playing in playoffs

There has also been some talk about the large school champ playing the small school champ..........Correct

Is Scott still in the small school bracket and if so why?

Is Scott still in the small school bracket and if so why?

Yes, don't know why specifically but they only had about 20 kids total so them playing in the small school seems justified. Lets hope they can get their program kick started and then move up.

Holmes is in the small school division also I believe. Lloyd hasn't been able to field a freshman team the last two years. Newport doesn't have a freshman team this year and barely had enough players for one last year. I am not sure what Brossart does. So the small school division is just fine with Scott playing there. The only teams playing this year in the small school division are Beechwood, Newport Central Catholic, Holmes, Holy Cross and Scott. Obviously not enough there for a full schedule so Beechwood was able to add to their schedule Conner, Boone and Purcell Marion.

For those who aren't aware, Beechwood is the only 1A school that plays in the "small school" division. I am not sure what the other 1A schools do but I have heard they combine the freshman and sophomores together and play games against other schools. Beechwood is the only 1A school that fields a freshman team and they are the only 1A school that has a JV team.

I have not heard about the small school champ playing the big school champ and highly doubt it happening. This year, the small school division will probably have a one game championship playoff/game with it almost surely being Beechwood versus Newport Central Catholic.
