September 16, 201115 yr Anyone catch this on NFL network last night? Belichick was followed for the entire 09 season with cameras and microphones. Great show. Great insight into a wonderful football mind. I'm pretty sure I would watch any show like that NFL films produces.
September 16, 201115 yr This was a couple of years after the famous "Belicheat" incident. Any references to this in the show?
September 16, 201115 yr I forgot about it. I was planning to watch this all week. Hopefully they'll replay it.

September 16, 201115 yr Most overblown incident in NFL history. I disagree, he hasn't won the big one once he got caught. I don't know how anyone could think that knowing what the other team plays are because you hide a camera to spy on there practice isn't a huge advantage...
September 16, 201115 yr Bill: step in to the throw Tom: I got drilled when I threw it Bill: did you get hit on that? Tom: yeah, right when I threw it!! Bill: the one to Maroney? Tom: it was right in his hands! Bill: it was over his head..... Tom: oh...that one.... classic sequence.....:lol:

This fact is what makes Spygate loom larger over Belichick with each passing the year the Pats don't win the Super Bowl.

I don't know how anyone could think that knowing what the other team plays are because you hide a camera to spy on there practice isn't a huge advantage... Yeah cause those are so easy to win. It couldn't be the parody in the league or the fact that in the AFC there's Big Ben and Manning who will go down as all timers. That David Tyree circus catch off the helmet had a lot to do with "spygate". Big Ben has never won a Super Bowl since being accused of raping that college kid in Georgia. That incident means he'll never win one again right?

September 16, 201115 yr Author Only if the girl had the plays of the Cardinals before the game. Those arguments crack me up. They have a better winning percentage in the regular season after the incident and they got beat on the biggest miracle catch in the history of the Super Bowl yet they could only win when they were doing that?

September 16, 201115 yr Only if the girl had the plays of the Cardinals before the game. Maybe that's what Ben has been doing...
September 16, 201115 yr Author  Yeah, that was what was helping Ben win... I think it is. Being young and single, chasing women (even if they don't consent) and riding motorcycles without helmets gave him an edge. Ever since he settled down and now is married he's been turning the ball over in big situations. That isn't quite as absurd obviously but people who make that argument forget that they went 18-1 and were beaten in the Super Bowl by the luckiest play ever. Like I said Super Bowls aren't easy to win. The Steelers got a gift that Seattle wasn't that good and the refs handed them their game. Then they were a big favorite and were almost beaten by an Arizona team that won a terrible division and looked like they quit in the regular season against NE. And last year they couldn't beat the 6 seed from the NFC. I would love to be a fan of either of those teams the past 6 years or the next 6 and it wouldn't surprise me if neither won another SB or if they both win one. I'd take NE's success since the overblown "spygate" all day every day if I were a fan of their team.
