Mason bent but didn't break on defense; stopped the Breds at least 4 or 5 times on downs. Good showing by the backup RBs for the Royals. Big confidence-booster.

 

Always a pleasure sitting with beverlybubba and listening to him reminisce about Tennessee football back before World War I (okay, maybe not quite that long ago). Also enjoyed seeing former Royals and current G'town Tigers Neal Pawsat and Alex Newton.

I don't go quite that far back, just back to the Johnny Majors era, ...when he played.

 

The Royals played hard. Coach B always has his players in top physical condition. I think it showed last night.
