Franklin County 37 Frankfort 7

Featured Replies

Actually was 36-7 final.

Flyers jumped out to a 21-0 lead at the end of the 1st. Then a little sluggish after that. Big win with the Defense looking good 2nd half.

Flyers played awesome, I am impressed by how fast they are. They have many options to go to. Timmons that kid is incrediably fast. Panther's looked as if they gave up too early, they did not look as if they wanted to tackle tonight. Franklin's QB is very agressive. Good victory Flyers.

Also, the refs were horrible this game the guy in the white hat :eyeonyou:

Frankfort's speed has decreased by i'd say from past years at being a 9 to about a 5.

Nice interception tonight by Daniel Anderson for the Flyers. Chris Roberts with some strong runs on Offense too. Big catch by Zac Grammar in the 1st half got things going. Big QB sack by Sean Jarboe to stop a Panther drive. Hope the Leach kid for the Panthers is okay. Hurt his shoulder again late in the game. Good luck to the Panthers the rest of the way. Flyers get ready for Scott High next Fri.

First I will say Franklin County is very good team. Overall Team speed is GREAT! Plenty of weapons. They keep heads together and continue to improve weekly they will go far. I said it at the begining of the season.

As for Frankfort I think our young guys GREW up tonight. Now I hate this saying and can't believe I saying it, but thought score don't tell the true story about the game. FCHS did a great job out the gate. FHS gave FCHS o-line fits all night. I think FHS did a good job of keeping FCHS off balance. Offensively I thought FHS improved alot up front and ran the football well. But they put the defense in bad field position at key times and FCHS took advantage of that like good teams do.

I don't think FHS gave up at all. Kids fought all night. But when you start losing kids to injury and just exhausted your play drops.

Wish FCHS the best. I will be pulling for them all year.

I think both teams will be playing 3rd week of November.

Another nice win for Franklin County. They were a sizable favorite over Frankfort tonight, but this doesn't really diminish the team Frankfort has. I agree with Coach Buckett, that both of these schools can make some postseason noise.

Fast legs make you miss tackles, and compared with Ryan Timmons (10.7 100 meters) the speed was reduced, and there was no give up......The White HAt was extremely bad......Panthers take loss, but got better......Best of luck to The Flyers!

Coach Buckett is right on all counts. Unlike past years, I think Frankfort High fought till the end. There was no quit in those kids Friday night, especially JoJo Morgan. That kid played his heart out, as did his brother before him. Good coaching has to do with kids like them playing well and never giving up. Congrats to the Flyers, but they have to tackle better if they want to beat teams like John Hardin.

The bold is an understatement if I have ever seen one!!! Franklin County is playing well, but I am not sure they are ready for the likes of John Hardin just yet!

2006 = 40-27 FC

2007 = 24-14 FC

2008 = 17-10 FC in OT

2009 = 28-14 FHS

2010 = 20-12 FC

FHS has never quit in years past........

I was referring more to the 2005 game and 2006 game. Frankfort got down in both of those games and were walking on and off the field towards the end of those games. Granted the scores were 45-14 in '05 and 40-20 in '06, but they didn't end with the passion Frankfort played with this entire game. I was just trying to compliment the play of the FHS team during the game.
