theguru Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Very close game. Both teams looked average at best.
cooperstown Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Not quite the blowout that some were predicting for Boone.
bcrebeldbdad Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I think Ryle should have won this game, bad snaps from center killed them in the first half. Boone could not get anything going. Boone's D looked good though.
theguru Posted September 2, 2011 Author Posted September 2, 2011 I agree Boone's DL looked good with Moss, Bowling, and the other name escapes me. Anyone?
bcrebeldbdad Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Hickman and also Schlarman timing the count and getting into the backfield.
StraightShooter Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I only remember a couple of completed passes for Ryle and none for Boone. Lots of room for improvement on both sides. Congrats to the Rebs.

Royalblue81 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 What did woody predict, Ryle by 14? Close..
Ram Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I agree Boone's DL looked good with Moss, Bowling, and the other name escapes me. Anyone? Wouldn't start with a "B" and end with a "lupo" would it?
Clyde Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I agree Boone's DL looked good with Moss, Bowling, and the other name escapes me. Anyone? It is one of those hard to spell names.
kyvince Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Do both teams still run 75% throw it 25% or less? I had heard Boone was loaded this year, with huge lineman an a couple very tough RB's. Did Boone play poorly, is Ryle better than their 1st week showing or a combination of the two?
RyleWagon Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 Do both teams still run 75% throw it 25% or less? I had heard Boone was loaded this year, with huge lineman an a couple very tough RB's. Did Boone play poorly, is Ryle better than their 1st week showing or a combination of the two? Ryle defense played much better, had the right guys in thier correct position, some were not and that's why they scored, offensive is another story, even though Boone defense front was great, they didn't do much on offense, actualyl surprised they didn't run outside more, with the horses they have. Ryle offense on the other hand was no where to be found, could not block, snap, hold on the ball, pass, you name it, they could not do it. end of the game provide it.
