It would be fun if BGP had an OVERALL (all classes) top ten.

As to 6A, kind of sad how weak some of the teams are that are on the list.... but I can't find another deserving team to argue with you.

If St. X beats Bowling Green this week, especially if it is convincing, I suspect they will make a move upward. I would have them ahead of Scott County right now, but I understand completely why they are in the #4 spot.

Everything is taken into account. However, in case of Ryle, if Colerain really puts it on them we think hard about what Colerain would do to the other teams in the poll so even if Ryle does get drilled they may not drop any.

X should be #2, especially if they win this week. And if Ryle gets "drilled" I'd say the winner of Eastern/Butler should jump to #7 or higher

It would have to be based on in-state games looking at this poll. How else could Ballard get beat like they did and drop only 2 spots? Or how could Male lose to an out of state underdog in Week 1 and not fall out of the Top 5?

 

WOW!! Ballard got beat freaking 68-0. I dont care who they were playing. Its 68-0 and they fall 2 spots? They are 0-2 and still 8th?

 

Glad to see Ryle and Eastern both finally get in the Top 10. They are both really good football teams and both absolutely handled their Lexington opponents.

 

Does Butler get in just because they played Male tough? If thats the case then why did Lafayette drop out? They played Bell Co tough in a game that couldve gone either way? And I see in the 3A poll that you have Bell Co ranked pretty high.

 

I understand that the bottom half of the 6A Top 10 is probably the hardest part of any poll to create. Just sharing my thoughts.

PP, you have to consider how the rest of the teams in the poll would have done against the team that drilled Ballard.

 

Think about this, X lost and moved up.
