billwilliams70 Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I can't really go against our Falcons.....but I will have to say that they're gonna have to play better defense against Warren Central than they did in both games against Clarksville and Russellville. I think the offense did well but does need to do better as well, but it's the defense that really needs to step up and improve. Later.
Eric Northman Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I assume you mean Warren Central. I have seen Warren Central up close and they should be in the 5a discussion with Bowling Green and John Hardin. I admit I dont know much about Fort Campbell, but what little I do know about them this year I will have to go with Central 28-14.
FC Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I agree with Bill, the defense will need to really step up their game this week, especially on the edges and in pass coverage. Warren Central is a very good team and will be favored to win and rightfully so. However, if Fort Campbell’s defense plays better, they don’t turn the ball over, and reduce the costly penalties (TDs called back) I believe they can win this game.
DragonFire Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I certainly don't view this as a game that Fort Campbell can't win, but I do feel pretty good about Central's chances, even more so since it's in Bowling Green. The Dragons defense is not as good as it was last year, but they're still formidable. The key this year is that Central's offense is worlds better than last year.
dynamite-tnt Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Fort Campbell can win this contest, but Warren Central is playing really good football at the first of the season . I don't see Warren Central having a bad performance on friday night .Warren Central will only improve as the season goes on. I will go with Warren Central. WC-28 FC-16
FalconBacker Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 This should be a good game. FC can win this game, the only way the Falcons lose is if they beat themselves - which has already happened once this season. FC can't give up a pick, like they have in each of the two previous games, and allow the D to return it inside the 5 setting up a TD. FC can't take points off the board for undisciplined penalties as they have in the two previous games. If FC plays this game like the two previous games, Warren Central will win. Should FC show up and play disciplined Falcon football, they will leave BG with a victory. FC 28 WC 21
The Scribe Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 I think Warren Central is one of the more underrated teams in the state. I think Fort Campbell can hang for a bit but I see a four touchdown win for Warren Central.

billwilliams70 Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 I just hope that the Falcons put four solid quarters of football together, don't make simple mistakes, and remember football fundamentals. Later.
