Another issue is when you go to a photo page, IF you are lucky you can see one comment, or even place one comment as it won't let you scroll down! You can't even delete your own photos, as well as a few other things. I just love how FB think they can do whatever they want and we just have to live with it! After I got through the run around and found where to send a comment (where it did say they will get back with me), All I get is a generic email, and it says they can't get personally get back with me.

 

So, the chat bar is horrible, and then issues with the photo pages, anything else they messed up over the past few days?

I had trouble getting a message to come up today, was combined with the chat feature and I had trouble seperating the two to finally retrieve my message. I had to hit reset to do it, Arrrrrrrrrggggghh!!

Yes, I forgot about that one, well it's im just so frustrated about the chat I forgot. Why combine the instant messanger chat with the message/email? These are HORRIBLE ideas!

While I disagree with the chat problems, I'm obviously not as upset at FB as you are. If you dislike it so much, why not just delete/deactivate your account?

HB, Just take a look at the HUGE amount of people in the help sections that are upset, not only about the chat but many things that most users are uspet about! They do not get back with anyone at all! They don't care! Many other people in this thread are upset too, and the chat isn't the only thing many are upset about but so far the biggest issue. Like Wireman, I have too many contacts via FB to just deactivate the account and I am sure others do too, but most of mine and I am sure Wireman too are mainly work related.

 

FB is popular for many reasons but one of the main reasons is because of the chat, what good is having a chat if you don't see all of your friends who are online? Then you add the other issues mentioned in thise thread, it is not as pleasant as it used to be, and more frustrating.

Free? Yes, BUT they make a heck of a lot of money off of the members! And yes, there are people out there who own businesses who become so arrogant that they do what they please, there is no customer service at FB and they don't listen, at AOL you can can have their free service and still get in contact with an employee via phone or email. I know a few older people when that gave up FB when they changed the font size, as it was hurting their eye trying to read the screen.

 

It's not as easy as you think to email 100s of people, just ask Wireman, it's much easier to chat when you see them online, some come on daily, some a few times a week, and others hardly come on at all. Plus, people want to have chats with people when they come online, when you can't see people as they come online it's much harder to keep up with people.

 

Again, there are many people upset at this, so just don't think it's me, and Myspace once thought they could do whatever they wanted, people got fed up and that is when FB started to gain members.
