formerkywrestler
I've seen some talk about MLB realignment and was curious to hear people's thoughts. I've seen multiple scenario's but here are the three most common. Scenario A: Arizona moves to the AL West, Houston moves to NL West. Scenario B: Houston moves to AL West Scenario C: Either Arizona or Houston moves, divisions are obsolete. Thoughts on these scenario's? Others you might have seen? What realignment would you choose? HammerTime
What about moving the Brewers?

formerkywrestler
This deserves it's own post. But here is Jim Bowden's crazy proposal.
formerkywrestler
What about moving the Brewers? What about moving the Brewers? You seem pretty adamant about it. I think a team that can easily go to the AL West makes the most sense and seems to be the common thinking from what I'm reading. Plus, Selig isn't going to want his favorite team headed back to the more difficult AL.

PutMeInCoach
Scenario B: Houston moves to AL West I think this is the most practical. It creates and instant Rangers v Astros rivalry which the Astros need.

UKMustangFan
The two I've seen the most are Houston to the AL West or Florida to the AL.
PutMeInCoach
Plus, Selig isn't going to want his favorite team headed back to the more difficult AL. Bingo. There was no reason to move them in the first place, he sure as heck isn't going to send them back.
formerkywrestler
As a Braves fan, yes please. As a Marlins fan I'm not so sure. Tampa and Philly are close to canceling each other out. And the future probably is brighter in Tampa than in Philly. I also think getting rid of the Mets is a huge loss...

If they keep divisions that move makes the least sense as it will require a lot of shuffling among teams.
SSC
I love the proposal for no divisions as a baseball fan, but not as a Reds fan. It's not fair for anyone to be in the same division as Boston and the Yankees.

It's not fair for anyone to be in the same division as Boston and the Yankees. That's why I think MLB should realign by market size.
