I"m a little confused to.

 

My guess, if that is what he means is Nolan Ryan. But I'm not sure if he pitched for the Angels or Rangers in the '80's. I know it's close on both ends. However, I would be almost certain he lead the NL a few times while with the Astros which was during the '80's so that's the only logical answer I have.

I'm sorry, I meant to say season leader in the NL in K's 3 different times during the 80's.
