How is it Mike Brown's fault that the second best player on any team he's ever coached was Mo Williams?

Let me go on the record and say this will turn out badly!

The only reason and I mean ONLY reason this makes any sense is that he is very defensive minded and the Lakers really struggled with that last year. :irked: I think they will be fine still but not title contenders.

Sooner or later it will come out that Jerry Buss lost a poker game to Mike Brown and Brown gets to coach the Lakers for at least a year. That is the only logical explanation. That or he hypnotized the Laker staff before his interview. Can't wait to hear what Kobe says and then see his facial expressions to see if he is being truthful.

I would love to see a puppet commercial reenactment of this.

Mike Brown always had good seasons in Cleveland despite what we are led to believe was the worst collection of talent ever assembled with the exception of one super-star player. Whether that is true or not is up for debate, but most side with that rationale. If that was the case then I think he did a good job in Cleveland. Not many coaches take a team to the finals, win 60+ games in consecutive seasons only to be shown the door. I did not realize he is only 41. I had it in my head he was older for whatever reason.

 

That does not mean I am happy with the Lakers' decision.

Kobe is the type that would seriously think that and want the challenge. Probably too little, too late.

I don't. The Lakers have never consulted with Kobe on any decision before otherwise they'd have Jason Kidd and Bynum would be gone. I don't know why this would be different.
