I'll admit I have never been to their football field , but , if it's by the high school , it's right across the little bridge over the Licking River , a little north of town on 27 in Falmouth.

I think the football field is at the middle school, a couple miles north of Falmouth on US 27, which is actually good for the folks coming down from Fort Thomas.

Yea Teddy , I am serious . People in Falmouth have been going to this festival since they were little kids. It's a tradition in Falmouth , and we know about tradition , right ? It's something that the people in Falmouth look forward to every year. No knock on them , it's what they do.

 

VOR you are correct .Not only the fans wouldn't show up , half the team might not . Wool fest is huge in Falmouth , the guys I worked with from there either took vacation days , or just called out from work to go to it .

I know a lot of people from up here who make the festival an annual trip. (No, I am not among them...although I've been a few times.)

I haven't been since it moved from the fairgrounds. The football field is at the middle school. Make sure that if you go to the game, bring your own chair and make any phone calls before you get to the field, no cell service.

Are you saying that they don't have bleachers at their football field ?

When we were there a couple years ago they had a bleacher set on one side and nothing on the other. There definitely weren't enough seats for all of the Highlands fans, but the seating was fine for when we were there. They do have a really nice track around the field which is good for standing, walking around, or setting up a lawn chair.
