I don't know much about Pendleton County's team, but this is quite a challenging schedule for them.

Well....take out the four district games and they are playing 6 really weak small schools (Brossart being the best of that group).......................................Considering they are 4 A I would not consider this a great schedule. Obviously your district games you are stuck with. Having Highlands and Covcath come to Pendleton is kind of neat though.

Might be neat, but it is going to be painful playing them in back to back weeks.

They better look at obtaining some stands!

Couldn't agree more! If they want to improve and try to come close to competing in 4A they have to play a tougher schedule than that.

I disagree, I think this is a good schedule for Pendleton. It gives them a chance for some wins as well as playing some of the best teams in the state.

They have had rather small squads the past few years, numbers would help.

Highlands on a Thursday night! What's up with that.

Wool festival takes priority over football , imagine that !

Wait, are you serious?

? The Wool Fest is over by Kincaid Lake. The football field is near Butler.

Wool Fest is huge in Falmouth. They don't want to play Highlands with only Highlands fans at the game.

Yea Teddy, I am serious. People in Falmouth have been going to this festival since they were little kids. It's a tradition in Falmouth; and we know about tradition, right? It's something that the people in Falmouth look forward to every year. No knock on them, it's what they do.

VOR, you are correct. Not only the fans wouldn't show up, half the team might not. Wool fest is huge in Falmouth. The guys I worked with from there, either took vacation days, or just called out from work to go to it.

I'll admit I have never been to their football field, but if it's by the high school, it's right across the little bridge over the Licking River, a little north of town on 27 in Falmouth.

Fun fact: The Licking River is one of only three rivers to flow NORTH, in the world !
