But the eight that are mentioned later I was. 1973 was wrong and so was 1965, we lost in the bowl games. I said take it away. the way it is now we wouldn't have won those two. But give us 1966.

Peaches has commented. "I go to school and pay monthly for his school lunch, he has no car and only money I have given him". The University will seek payment from the author Mr. Lee for their time and Peaches has not decided to seek legal action against Mr. Lee.

He even gave you game history and MVPs what proof do you need? The NCAA gives Alabama credit for 11 national titles (some are co champs). The only 2 Larry listed that the NCAA does have them as champs is 1934 & 1941. They have Minnesota listed as the champs both of those years.

Back to the thread..the NC thing will not change the way Bama fans feel, you are wasting your finger tapping on this issue. AL.com is the newspaper sites and its free. Someone mentioned that we are still on probation from the "TextBook gate" and any kind of problem could set our program back several years, most Booster are aware of this. On Bleachersreport.com there is an article which goes into more detail of Bama's compliance findings. I wish I knew how to post links...But there was a family friend who was mentioned by "Auburn Jeffery" and this man was a friend of Brents before he was a ninth grader and has no issues since Brent wasn't classified as a recruit in the ninth grade.

I don't know about the 65/73 titles, I was just pointing out to those who claim Bama only has 8 titles that the NCAA in fact gives them claim to 11. Again the 34 & 41 titles are not Bama's but Minnesota's.

Larry this makes no sense. Did I say that Bama did not win a share of those titles? Don't believe I did. I don't have the time and this is not the pace to get into an indepth discussion on the history of college football. Some say Bama has 8 titles, some say 11, Bama fans say 13. Before the AP and Coaches polls were mainstream about 10-15 different national champions could be crowned per year due to the different agencies that gave them out. I'd like to know how many schools claim titles in those same years.

Nope not giving that one to you because you said Miami can't count one in 2000. How fair was it for FSU to jump Miami in 2000 when Miami had beat them? I don't want to hear any team other than MAYBE 2009 Texas complain about a jobbing like that.

It was the worst mistake of the BCS ERA. Miami loses a game to Washington (top 10 that year) first game of the year and goes undefeated beating FSU in the process. FSU passes Miami during the final weeks of the poll. Utter and complete garbage but that is neither here nor there. As for '93 I don't really care I was still playing with Power Rangers then .

CCC, I have some video of those guys, and halloween costumes on video. I see your post on FSU and that was wrong. There is a book out about the 1966 season for Bama, it is called the Missing Ring". I was 13 then. And Snake was our QB and til this day most true Bama fans can't stand ND.

If we can get back to the thread, it is going to be interesting to see how this shakes out. There is some question as to whether the guy involved meets the definition of "booster." If he does UA has a problem.

Woodruff has commented that Brent is like a son to him and like I said a 9th grader is not a recuit. Brent was small as a ninth grader like most are, linemen maybe not. Brent told the Uof A complience folks why he left Auburn. He commited to Bama as a RB. Later Bama told him he might be moved to LB, Brent decommited. Auburn told him you will be a RB, but later they lied (No comment) and signed to more RBs. Brent then changed his mind and commited and signed with Bama.

 

UA has no problem, but than we are still on probation and any problem will be severe for the program. Complience said "no report will be filed with the NCAA". There is nothing there.
