At most, and that's pretty aggressive. Field Turf warranteed the field for 10 years but told us that the warranty is based on Florida installations (where the strong sun breaks down the turf fibers faster than up here). The President of Field Turf said we are likely to get more than 10 years, but he couldn't say how many more years. I have spoken to Dale several times (as recent as earlier this month) about the replacement and it's definitely on his radar.

 

Clyde, you are correct. The turf has been used for 9 football seasons.

 

 

In the building construction industry there is a 35% slop factor included when warranties are thrown around. . So another 3 1/2 yrs is doable. But not much more.

Ahh, the "dream" thread. I figured some would take that the wrong way. The impetus (look it up) for that was people bashing Zeke. It's getting tiresome to read negative posts about a kid by adults.

 

You probably didn't realize it but I was taking the real Dream speech and substituting local-isms in it. When I mentioned the part about Ft Thomas attorneys and people from CCH some (you obviously) took it as a negative towards Highlands. Not true at all. It just fit well. However, you and ABC and others are guilty of perpetuating (look it up) the feeling that Ft T folks despise CCH folks so maybe there was some truth to it.

 

As I said, I root for them all. It doesn't matter if a HHS kid goes to ND, UK, Centre, UC, or , heck, even Illinois. I hope they do well and represent the community.

 

Continue to create fabrications in your mind if necessary to keep your life interesting but realize it's all a myth. I think most of the good people of 41075 do.
