Check out Golf Exchange on Mall Rd. in Houston. I don't know much about golf, but I do know they have a good selection of pre-owned clubs and they offer fittings using the same TrackMan simulator the pros use. From what I hear, the customer service there is second-to-none! :thumb:

Great place, great selection. However, it is a ways from Pikeville.

I have the x-20's also. Very nice sticks, the new x-24's look sharp wouldnt mind having a set of those.

 

Im 6'2 and I got fitted at golf galaxy for mine. I think they added 1/2 inch to mine.

 

Same here they measured my arm length to the fingertips. They also added a 1/2 inch as I am 6'2 as well. Now if I could just get my handicap under 20 I will be happy. Mr inconsistent is my name. I usually play like this. ... b

Not sure what the heck I was thinking when I typed in Houston. I meant it's on Mall Road in Florence. Must have been thinking Houston Road or something.

Unless you are a doctor or lawyer I'd suggest you invest 75 bucks in a nice fishing pole instead.

Definitely the best recommendation. You can get pretty decent sets at places like Play It Again Sports for pretty cheap!

You won't have the time to commit to it to be really good I am guessing.

Golf is a great game but not made for the man with an average paying job.

After I hit a shot a friend of mine once told me I was standing too close to the ball, I looked at him for better explanation and he simply said after you hit the ball. Enjoy the game.......one good shot and your ready to return for more abuse the next day.

Probably true but I'm not investing a ton so I don't mind. If it doesn't pan out then that's okay too. Plus I already have fishing gear so I'm good there.

Golf is a humbling experience.
