Final.

I was told there was a donnybrook in the stands afterwards.

Anyone?

Only fight I saw was when Lexington Catholic came out and punched Scott County in the mouth in the first half. Nice performance by the Knights. The pressure defense should give Woodford County fits on Saturday. Especially as much as they turn the ball over.

LC makes a statement for a good run in state but Tates Creek still has something to say also.

Lexington Catholic was in control the whole game. If Catholic shot FTs better it would have been much worse. They missed alot of them down the stretch to their credit were able to maintain the lead.

Lex Cat always comes to play in the Regional tourney. I wanna hear more about the Pier Sixer in the stands.

Big win for Lex Cath. Doesn't sound like the game was ever in doubt. Had not heard about the affray in the stands.

Thought Lex Cath played about as well as they have all year....with the exception of the FT's. Woodford will have to bring their best game to beat the Knights. As for the affray in the stands, I left a few seconds before the game was over and didn't see anything at this point. However, with the screwed up exiting arrangement and setting in the lot for 25 minutes, I did see and hear an anruly crowd of 100 or so students that gathered in the middle of the parking lot. Security did show up about 5 - 10 minutes later....don't know if it was a bloody battle or not!

I wonder if indeed it was a Pier Sixer, or if it was a brawl, melee or donnybrook or even a UFC-type fracas? There is nothing wrong with a good melee once in a while. I'm kind of partial to them after games.
