After what happened to the discovery channel getting held up by that wack job who was an environmentalist and a green party supporter. I'm not going to arrogantly say the next time they gather and spurt out hateful speech " All that is missing is a gun and some hostages." I know that is not what the green party is about. Politics are out of control in this country. People can spew hatred and bigotry and for the most part get a free pass because it's wrapped in the cloak of politics.

 

It's just a matter of time before we have another incident like we had in Tucson.

Right, I just want to know how this went from a thread about abhorrent behavior from a bunch of idiots into "The Tea Party is so unjustly villified!" I just don't understand how a thread like this can be started and it morphs into partisan politics. What this group of protestors did is terrible. It has no place in civil discourse. We're not in disagreement about the video, not in the least. However, there are some on here that paint the Tea Party with a broad brush, not saying you're one of them. I was merely explaining to you what a few posters were saying, and I'd say my explanation was accurate.
