I think the "cabin fever" is getting to the boys. Nothing is worse then practicing baseball in a gym. With the amount of rain we have had it will be a miracle if anyone gets on a field until 1st or 2nd week of April if this weather keeps up.

 

Highlands use to practice up at the old Army gym on the "strongside" of town back in the day. Now they are limited to a 30' x 80' small gym. I would suspect the Football fieldturf has its advantages.

:walk::walk:on over we will give everyone a pass for baseball.

At least they are talking about the program; if they are not talking a coach could be walking. On topic is the website updated with roster?

 

Highlands has absolutely the right guy in place. He will do what is best. I'm not a Bluebirds fan, and my kids don't/won't play baseball there, but if they decided to, he'd be who I'd want them to play for. Great demeanor, great knowledge of the game. Most importantly, he realizes that football is king at Highlands and he WANTS to work w/ Coach Mueller to do what is best for the kids. Highlands is lucky to have him.

I agree 1000%! My oldest wants to stick to basketball and football but a ton of respect in our household. He makes the game fun and knows the sport. He will work the program.
