Im still going with Bullit East. Western is undisciplined. Central gave them the game last night. East will be well prepared. Not sure Western will. They dont even film there games. They are athletic and played East a zone in the LIT. East LIT them up from the 3pt line. If they man east they run a lot of motion mixed in with sets. Very hard to prepare for.

Western plays a lot of 2/3 zone, and it was very effective against Central because of their size and athleticism, and they contested all shots that Central shot. I thought that Western was well prepared for Central. I wouldn't say that Central gave them the game, but Western won it. It was fitting that Western won because they were winning the whole game, and let Central take the lead, and then Central gave it back to them. Games like this are a regular in post season play. Western is not your typical school...the boy's basketball program probably doesn't even own a video camera. If you have ever been to a home game for them, the opposing team always has more fans, and there is no student section. Kind of sad because they have a very talented team this year.

Western is one of the most poorly coached teams I have seen. Their offense last night was to post up Taylor on the 3-point line or elbow and have him go 1-on-2, 1-on-3 from there. #22 got some open looks as well. Central played a Triangle-and-2 for a large portion of the game and should have won, but gave it away late. Bullitt East played some Triangle-and-2 last night against Iroquois, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the same against Western. It is a shame with Western because Taylor is one heck of a player who could do even more if they did anything to get him shots.
