I did not mean to blow it out of proportion. The starters played in and out most of the game. They are apparently Varsity players that get considerable playing time. The Camels subbed in JV players at the end. The Wildcats continued full court press, fouling, and calling time outs. Clearly after the Camels called off the dogs. All I'm saying is, at that stage of the game, most coaches tip their hat and do the same. It is in no way a reflection on the Pendleton Co. team, it's a coaching choice. I have to agree with teachcoach1, calling time out with 6.9 seconds was a little over the top. Pendleton has a real nice team and they are not to be taken lightly. Good luck to them, maybe we will meet again. Had Pendleton pulled their starters and the Camels left their starters in and run the score up, would that not have been thought of as in poor taste?

Why do you call a timeout with 6 seconds and down 13? I don't know of any 13 point plays.

I agree didn't understand that one. Guess he didn't want to take any timeouts home with him?? Or maybe it is an opportunity to teach for future late game situations to execute no matter who is on the floor.

We can second guess all we want but maybe that moment will pay dividends in a few weeks??

I don't have a problem with a team continuing to press if the other team puts their JV in.

Monroe definitely hit a three in the second half and I know for sure White had one.

As far as the end of the the game just remember CC started the game with their starters against some of the PC reserves on senior night. So let's don't blow the end of the game out of proportion! Regular season games don't really matter, it is what you do in the post-season that most remember anyways.

I like both teams to be in Maysville the end of February.

Unless both teams are paying the $7 to spectate like everyone else, don't look for either to be playing in Maysville at the end of February. CC has BB in the first round of district and PC has Deming. Please correct me if wrong

CC already beat BB and I would put my money on CC in the Districts again. PC has played a very tough schedule this season and will be ready for the King boys in their matchup. Like HoopDr I like both PC and CC to be in Maysville this season.

Funny.....Who did you guys draw in district?

I would be shocked if both of these teams don't make it to Maysville. No way that Brossart beats Campbell County IMO.

Pendleton has always beaten Deming when it matters most in the postseason, and I dont see that changing this year. Pendleton played pretty poorly in their regular season matchup, and still took the game to overtime, with a chance to win it with free throws at the end of overtime.

They drew Bracken

No Bracken-AllIN drew Mason
