Devante Parker of Ballard is the best combination football-basketball athlete in the state IMO. He should probably first team all state in basketball, as he was in football. Who is next best? Perhaps the Tandy kid from Christian County?

I would agree with you on this one. I don't think anyone can compare to Parker.

I would put Cory Rogers of GRC on the list also.

Next year could quite possibly be Zeke Pike from Dixie..

Doug Beaumont was All-State in both

 

Brohm was All-State in football and baseball and a very good hoopster.

 

And Oldham County kid Donta Smith was All-State WR and drafted in the NBA

Roni Robinson from Franklin County was All-State in Football and Basketball his senior year, 1997 I believe.
