Trinity Rocks Jeffersontown 70 to 46!!

After leading 31 to 9 at halftime, the Rocks opened a 30 point lead

68 to 38 with 3 minutes to go when they emptied the bench!! :thumb:

That would be an incorrect assumption. Zack Price didn't play, that was it. Trinity basically put on a clinic tonight. It was so obvious who the better team was tonight that even Jeff Morrow was quiet on the bench and just watched it happen.

Jeff Morrow is not the answer. He is consistenty controversial.

No. 9 Trinity upset No. 3 Jeffersontown 70-46 by getting twice as many rebounds, 32-16. Trinity, now 18-7, led 31-9 at haltime after holding Jeffersontown (20-4) to only three points in the second quarter.

Trinity opened the basketball game with an 11-2 run and never looked back, stunning visiting Jeffersontown 70-46 Tuesday night.

Trinity (18-7) is No. 9 in The Courier-Journal's Litkenhous Ratings, while the Chargers (20-4) are No. 2.

The Shamrocks hit nine of their first 12 shots en route to a 20-6 lead after one quarter. They held the Chargers to three second-quarter points to go to the locker room up 31-9, then expanded their lead to as many as 30 in the second half.

Trinity outrebounded J'town 32-16 and forced 23 turnovers.

Charles Foster led the winners with 18 points, and Troy Saxton added 16. Tony Kimbro had 18 points for the Chargers, who had won five in a row.

I do believe that Harry Cross a starting guard did not not play.

Jeffersontown went undefeated last year in JV. They were supposed to be a have a stable full of athletes and be able to go all the way down to the last man on the bench without much drop-off this year. Looks like they are fading just before they hit the stretch run of the season. Maybe all the controversy and negative press in recent weeks is causing a distraction.

Or maye an over reaction to one game. Afterall, they do have 20 wins and a KOB championship

I believe you are correct.

J-town could have been tired with a tough game at South Oldham the previous night. Trinity looked a step quicker all night. They also ran their offense very well.

The center for J-town - Daniel Ross is his name, I think - does he play football? For as husky as he is, he really moves well.
