Covington Holy Cross (11-5) -- Johnson 4, Turner 13, Beal 25, Nienaber 3, Childers 1, Romney 11.

Muench was the big x-factor for NCC she really got them going with some of her dribble drives. She did not play great in this tournament until tonight but she was great on this night. If they can get that kind of effort from her in Richmond they should be the favorite.

 

I was very impressed with Beal she can shoot from anywhere on the court for a high percentage, some of the 3's she made tonight were NBA 3's.

So who do you think will be the biggest obstacle in the way of NCC winning another State title?

Murray without a doubt, they were not prepared for the pressure defense NCC plays but i bet you they will be ready this year.

Congrats to NCC, on their run in the A, and the string of championships. No surprise to me though, they've had some good talent, and have great coaching.

Congrats and Good Luck to NCC. Five consecutive 9th Region All 'A' championships is very impressive. Let's hope they can make it two consecutive State titles.

They are class A, however in football they play in AA with the 6 class system.

Murray will not be there. According to the KHSAA scoreboard Ballard Memorial defeated them in the 1st region finals.
