Apparently Corey Rogers is in Tennessee on a visit to check out some colleges for football purposes. GS would be able to better inform you though.

Really? Playing at your rival without a double double machine in the paint is hard to overcome no matter who you are. A 9 point win in this game is solid. Wasn't there so I can't comment on how they played though...

Will Corey be back for the Warren Central game tomorrow night?

Ugly Win for GRC against a scrappy Montgomery team. Robbie Stenzel had a big game, not sure what his total points were but I am guess around 24. Not a pretty win by any means, but a win. (Without Rogers)

 

Lots of physical play with Montgomery Co's Handshoe burning up the 3's. He is without a doubt the best player on that team (IMO).

Corey Rogers is visiting MTSU for football. He was missed tonight.

GRC played a very sloppy game with lots of careless turnovers. Corey Rogers was definitly missed tonight and I hope that he will be back tomorrow night against Warren Central. GRC will need him. It was a very good and tough road win for GRC. Robbie Stenzel had 26 points on 6-12 from three point range. I thought that Robbie did a good job defending Omar Prewitt of Montgomery.

Do not bring refs into this discussion. Both sides could make a case about missed calls. With this type of rivalry the refs cannot call everything or the game would go on forever. Refs had nothing to do with the turnovers.

Is Prewitt having a down year so far? Just don't hear about him as much. I watched him play 3 times last year and didn't think his teammates(the upper classmen) looked for him whatsoever, he had to create everything on his own

Consistent - I wish the ref's would have been consistent.

 

Turnovers were a big issue for both teams. As stated before - not a pretty game.

Cory is on a college visit as stated and will miss tomorrows game with Warren Central too. He is our leading scorer and a beast inside. Also he gets the assignment of guarding their best player. Yes he was missed tonight as I knew he would be. Thought Robbie did a good job on Prewitt. He lit it up tonight so glad he had a great game.
