I for one was sorry to hear Couch Naumann is no longer with the program. I thought he was a great teacher (sometimes a little too excitable but that is not a bad thing in football) and his values are what Cov Cath is all about. He got the most out of his players and the negatives I heard about him quite frankly surrounded kids that a) weren't as good as they or their parents thought they were b) were not dedicated to the program. I know he teaches at Moeller and lives near there, and also has a young family. It could be he just wanted to spend more time with them at this point.

Very well put. He could get fired up and make a lot of noise sometimes when it came down to it, but it was never problematic. His personality always reminded me a fair amount of Bob Noll's from back in his days as the offesive coordinator at Cov Cath...and at least in my book, that's a big compliment.

Yeah I hear ya. I also know for a fact that he is pretty good friends with a certain Highlands fan that lives in Villa Hills that I wouldnt mess with either. Those types of guys sorta run together. They must be fond of a certain restaurant over those ways that they both frequent and run into one another from time to time. LOL.

Wow!!!!!! I am shocked to read the old thread and to see names thrown around so haphazardly. Those must have been some real tough times in Park Hills.

 

On a serious note, I am glad to see that CovCath finally has there guy in Coach Wirth. Ill bet he doesnt answer to a bunch of control freaks nor should he.
