Madison Central 56 Mason County 50

Featured Replies

Final.

Caught the end of the game on the radio. Thinking this should of have been a win for Mason County. Any comments on the way they played?

A bit surprised by this one. Central is a young team that will be getting better over the next couple of years but would have expected Mason to win and win comfortably.

Same here. Good win for the young Central team.

Very physical game. After the Madison Central coach got a T calls started to go in the Madison Central favor.

These two teams meet again in two weeks at Mason.

Mason County had several chances at the end of the game to put this game away, but failed at doing so.

Coach Feldhaus got a technical foul called him because the referee thought he was arguing about a call. What he was doing was trying to get their attention about Brenton Covington bleeding from an accidental elbow. I think after that Mason County had about 4-5 calls against them in a row.

Feldhaus is well known throughout the referee ranks as being a coach that constantly complains and very vocally questions calls. Actually to the point that several officials will not call Madison Centrals games. I'm sure at times this tactic works.

So it was okay to call a technical foul on him when he was trying to get their attention because he had a player bleeding because of this reputation?

Ref Lennox was a very big disappointment here!!!

I'm assuming you mean Bart Lenox?

Care to explain?

I only saw the last 3 minutes of the game.

Yes Bart,It was obvious after AJ climbed him after the T he clearly made every call the other way,He usually is one of my favorite BBA refs but he really blew some one sided whistles after AJ got all over him..I will leave it at that because you won't hear me say the refs cost us the game,I don't wanna take anything away from Central as they play hard to take this game from the Royals!

Seemed like Mason got a lot of calls in 4th from him. Obviously he had the charge on Gilbert but that was easy.
