I can't believe he actually opened fire on them like that. I'm glad he has horrible aim. Reminded me of Dumb & Dumber, where Lloyd goes "You're a horrible shot!"

Also agree that they are all lucky that man had absolutely zero shooting skills. I'm sure him being crazy/intoxicated/nervous had a little to do with his poor shooting though.

 

The school resource officer was in the back of the room right? The man had is back to him if he was, so I wonder if the School resource officer considered shooting the gunman from the back of the room before the gunman opened fire?

If you listen to the whole replay, you hear that school security guy talking to the man, asking him if he has a gun. Then, the man asks the security guy if he has a gun. He says, "no," then says he's leaving. He walks out of the room and doesn't return until he hears shots fired.

He got in there pretty quick and fired a shot into the back of his right leg so I am not sure what door he came in. He had to be peaking in the door to get in and shoot him that fast.

The interviews on CNN made it sound like the security guard came from the front of the room, but that didn't make much sense to me.

 

I had a hard time finding the full video yesterday. CNN has broken it down into segments with their anchors narrating and providing commentary, and some interviews by the witnesses. It was frustrating.

In his latest interview, he explains that, after the verbal exchange, he left to get more weapons and a bulletproof vest from his truck. He came back, opened the door, and that's when the guy started shooting.
