Maniacci was the key for their frosh and JV team last year. I believe he may have started at all three levels?

I heard it was a good game all the way through.

Surprised McClendon and Burger only combined for 8 pts in this one. Cooper must have had a good gameplan to lock those two down.

I heard it was a good game all the way through.

 

Tied at the half and Cooper had a 3 point lead heading in to the 4th quarter.

Where was the game played? Holy Cross gymnasium is a tough place to play.

It was a close game throughout. Cooper scored early in the 4th to go up 5. HC used the same press the whole game and I bet Cooper had about 25 turnovers or more. They even started the game with 4 straight turnovers. I was impressed with #4 from HC. He had a nice shot. HC score the go ahead with about 13 secs left and Cooper had 3-4 shots at the end but nothing would fall. I've seen two Cooper games thus far and they play hard and are good defensively but don't have enough scorers. They had Maniacci play some JV to get some confidence and he played well and even had a nice break away dunk. Cooper just needs to shoot free throws better and learn to limit the turnovers and they may squeak out some wins this year.

Maniacci played almost all the JV game, must have had 25 as he was at least 6 inches taller than all. He moves much better this year, he looked good.

 

In the Varisty game he picked up 3 quick fouls and was not a factor at all.
