Student Support

Covington Catholic is tops, If you sit in the visitors section you should have a great view of the game and student section Jim.

I've wanted to see the CovCath Crazies in their natural environment for some time, and it looks like I may be able to pull that off in December for their home game against Campbell Co.

Any advice to a first-timer checking out a game there? Specifically, do you have to get there ridiculously early? Because I'm the kind of guy who usually shows up five minutes before tip-off.

I agree with what Panda says above Jim, and that is sitting in visitor section provides a great view. However, I would get there more than five minutes before tip-off however, as the crazies do have some pre-game activites that they do before every game (stretchs, and other warm up routines) :D

If you're going to the CCH / Campbell County game, you should be fine getting there 10 mins early or so. If it was Highlands, or some other big-time game, you might as well line up now. (Or have an inside source standing on the side. :D)

A lot of student sections think they are good/funny/supportive when really they simply look like idiots.

I agree. Support your team, but signs to make fun of certain players on the other team is not in good taste or supporting your team. You are trying to degrade them, not support your team. Don't understand why some Adm. allow this.?????

I love the Cov Catholic Crazzies. I want them to go to state evey year so I can watch them. I end up watching them and not the game....

Thanks for the info, guys! I may break with tradition and show up at about 7.

To clarify, though, I wasn't so much worried about getting a seat as I was about parking. When you carry around as much camera gear as I do, there's rarely a problem getting into games and finding a nice seat on the end zone hardwood. :D

CovCath is the best without question, but who would get 2nd place? I would give it to Holy Cross. They have a lot of spirit, and they get pretty rowdy

Me too. Now, if we can just talk the Bulldogs into our way of thinking. :D
