Auburn/Alabama updates

Featured Replies

It would an embarrassment to college football if the Tigers fall this late in the season and still play in the national championship game but it would not shock anyone.

This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, but whatever rational you Boise lovers wanna use...

I have no dog in the fight, I want CHAOS! It's the only way we will eventually see the system changed.

My point was that Auburn isn't a top 2 team in the country, they are a top 10 team.

The same thing happened with LSU a couple years ago...

That's not at all true. Bama is a very good team, but they aren't "simply a better football team".

Based on what? Because it can't be based on what is happening on the field. Auburn, with its next first down, can equal 'Bama's TD total for the day.

There were no undefeated teams they had to jump after they bounced back to win the SEC Championship. Everyone had losses that year.

They deserve their ranking. Who else should be above them? Not Boise or TCU as long as Auburn is undefeated. I've just never believed Auburn could or would beat Alabama. And, I think a dominating win by Alabama makes it very difficult for Auburn to remain in the title game. I think UKMF is wrong in the belief that the result of this game doesn't matter.

Plus, LSU had everything that had to go right go right during that time. In typical Les Miles fashion...

Welcome to the game Cam Newton...

Now, maybe you can convince your defense to get on board during the kickoff.

The stat they showed before the game is that 18 of the last 22 have been close or come down to the wire. Wouldn't shock me at all to see this a 10 point game or closer going into the 4th.

Nearly 400 yards of total offense and only have a 17 point lead, this is crap.

Me either. I predicted a nailbiter. It's hard for football teams to keep their edge like that for 60 minutes.

Auburn's defense has been horrible, but they've forced two fumbles that have kept them in this football game. Without those two plays, at best Auburn is down 30-7, and possibly down 38-7.

2 turnovers will do that to anybody.
