November 26, 201015 yr Says who? You may very well be right but that's your opinion and cannot be proven fact, unfortunately. They could also go unbeaten and win by 2 touchdowns in each game. You can't let opinions keep Boise St out of the National Championship game. That matters how? I'm not denying it... Its all about opinion. The whole system is based on opinion. And, that's why it matters who Boise plays. That's why its held against them. If I have to form an opinion on teams, I'm more impressed by tougher competition. The playing field isn't level for anybody. The year Auburn went undefeated, it was the pollsters opinion that they were the third best undefeated team. The difference is a team like UK on Boise's schedule is one of their marquee games. It would be one of the games circled on their calendar and focused more heavily on. For Auburn, UK doesn't register. They have so many other marquee games, that's what makes the UK game dangerous for them. How bad would Auburn beat UK if that was one of three games circled on their calendar?
November 26, 201015 yr War Eagles have been moving the ball at will this half...Almost a complete opposite of the 1st half. I'm more impressed with the defensive turnaround. They were lucky Alabama didn't score 6 TD's in the first half...a dropped TD pass by Richardson and two fumbles kept them in the game. Now the Auburn TO is the only way Alabama sniffed the end zone. Honestly, it looks a lot like the first half, only the players switched uniforms.
November 26, 201015 yr Yep...Alabama clearly better. Who said that? Of course, if you'll extend me the same courtesy and re-read my post, you'll see that I said if they maintain their focus and intensity. Clearly, they haven't done that.:sssh:

Bama was stopping Auburn at will too. Now it's exactly opposite. Easily the most exciting football game of the year, both college or pro IMO.

Easily the most exciting football game of the year, both college or pro IMO. Seriously, it looks like the guys who were wearing 'Bama unis decided to trade out and play for Auburn in the second half. I'm not surprised the game has ended up close. I am surprised at how drastic the turnaround has been. Complete opposite halves.

November 26, 201015 yr  Sorry, I couldn't resist. And I remember the caveat that you included. Just couldn't pass up the opportunity. I expected it sooner to be honest. This is Auburn's most impressive game to me. I've doubted them most of the year and they keep finding a way to get it done. And, I was joking about the focus thing (at this point). From what I can see, Auburn has just turned it around and put the Tide on their heels by taking it to them.
November 26, 201015 yr Ouch, he's gonna be feeling that one for a while. Hope he's alright, but heck of a defensive play.
November 26, 201015 yr WOW! I had to find a computer with internet at work so I could watch the end of this game. Nick Saban must be T I C K E D!
