I can't say that I care what he'll write at this point, too early on. That's why I compared it to Obama's Nobel, makes no sense since he's done nothing just like Obama hadn't.

I think it's fantastic that he would lay out his agenda. I wish they all would. It would also be nice if he gives a little background on the Tea Party Movement. It's making an impact in the nation's elections and I know nothing about it.

Not much difference to me, both are/were unworthy regardless of the reasons.

We'll just have to disagree on that. To me, there is a HUGE difference between choosing to write a book (one that I am sure will be wildly successful financially, regardless of content) and NOT seeking an award that you were uncomfortable having to accept. He didn't deserve it at that point (still doesn't) and didn't think that he did.

So, some random questions/observations:

 

It's only a couple of months till his first days in the 112th session of Congress...

 

either it's not going to be a big book,

 

...or it would have been infinitely helpful to hear what these plans were when he was running against Conway. I never could figure out exactly what concrete plans he had.

 

...Will I read it? I'm waffling on this one. The potential lack of quality of a book that only takes 2 month's-ish to write is what gets me.

 

...probably more to come, but this is all for now.

 

Read it by checking it out of the public library instead of spending money on it.
