Hey Danville fans, how is the seating in Admiral stadium? Monroe travels very well and I was wondering if you guys have visitor bleachers or will we all pack in on one side? My wife and I always get to the games at least 1 1/2 hours early to get good seats wherever we go!

You will find that Admiral Stadium has a nice, very nice, large, very large, visitors side seating. I'm not sure about capacity but I think you will have plenty of room.

Hatz I know Monroe's defense has been suspect at times this year but Danville gave up 35 points to Washington Co. the same amount Monroe Co. gave up. You cannot compare scores because sometimes one team will match up better than they would with another team. Danville may win this game or they may not I just hope their team is as overconfident as their fans are.

I don't see why you say Danville fans are over confident.:idunno: I think the fans and the team are confident with the way they are playing at this point, just because we are picking Danville to win doesn't mean we are over confident. I know that Sam Harp is keeping his players in check, by the way all of the posters on here that are picking Danville to win are not primarily Danville fans, so from their perspective they must see Danville having an edge in this game.

I am just curious....if Monroe by some miracle beats the mighty Admirals will all the Ad fans give a little credit and root for our side of the region? :clap:Or will they cease to exsist like all but one of Green's fans! :thumb:

 

TSYoung, this is an unfair statement. Only two GC fans, that I know of, are members on BGP. You know our community and fans are behind this program just like yours. Not much any of them can say. Danville defeated us, we didn't play well, and they move on while we gather equipment. I make no excuses. I wish you the best of luck. Danville is very good and it will take a monumental effort from Monroe to pull it off. I will support you, our district, and wish you well.

I wasnt there, but I would venture to guess that Danville's speed and athleticism on defense, along with being greatly coached probably had a a little bit to do with this? Green is very well coached also, but I know for a fact that their athleticism doesn't compare to Danville (that's not a knock, either, because most out there dont have as much speed as athleticism as the Admirals).

 

I won't disagree with you. Good teams force you out of your comfort zone. We made mistakes we hadn't made all season. #50 gave us all sorts of problems with not being able to block him on offense. However, don't count out a very good GC program and some ATHLETES of their own. This team returns 8 starters on one side of the ball and 7 on the other for 2011. They will be right back in the hunt of things in 2A. This coaching staff is 38-12 the past four years and I don't see it dropping off anytime soon.

What did NCC ever do to you ? Oh you are refering to 2006 I guess .

You are correct, you pull for all small independents. You wanted Fairview to be LCA b/c they were public, I didn't see the explanation. That being said, you just dislike us.

I don't believe any of the Danville faithful are picking the Ads to win by three tds or more.I think 14 was the most.I said by 11.If the Ads could win by half a point I will be happy.:thumb:

Monroe has a good shot if they can keep it a close game and stop Danville's running back in the backfield. I think it will be a good game but danville will pull it out or they should they start 11 studs.

I just said I did not want NCC to win the 2A Championship.There are only three schools in the 2a playoffs left that are not Independent Schools.NCC,OC and Monroe County.If Danville does not get there I would love to see Monroe county make it because they are in Danville's region. I don't dislike NCC.It's a great football program that had one the best high school coaches ever!:thumb:

AA...I do believe he has ruffled your feathers!!! This is going to be a good game no matter who wins. I feel Monroe is their own worst enemy, if they play to their potential and all 11 on the field give 100% I personally do not feel they wiil leave Danville with their head in their hands! These kids are as talented as any program in the state, no matter how they got to where they are at now, and they are coached very well also....so this in my mind set leaves no doubt that they are very capable of ending the Ads season with a great game!!! Just My Opinion.....that and 50 cents still won't get you a cup of coffee:D
