Final from Greensburg.

31 carries, 530 yards rushing for Green County. Bardstown had 206 yards rushing. Green had 33 points and 1 first down in the first half. They only punted once and that was fumbled.

Anxious to see the scoring summary.

I know they had a 64 yard run and like an 83 yard run, and then the Tigers gave them the ball a time or two fairly close to the end zone.

Was it 67 or 57 for Green County? KHSAA site shows 57.

I wondered that as well, but when I re-checked, it has been changed to 67.

Did any defense show up tonight? Had a feeling the Dragons would soar, but had no idea it would be 67! Good win for Green, Good luck against Danville next week! Represent our district well, Glasgow dropped the ball tonight!!

Not much defense shows up tonight. A few scores came on the Dragons JV team but Bardstown has some athletes. A couple scores were freak, one I can recall was 4th and 9 on the Dragons 33 when Bardstown throws a halfback throwback and the linebacker from Green could have batted it down but elects to go for interception. The ball hits him right in the hands and bounces up in air and Bardstown reciever catches off the deflection and scores. Another with the GC safety falling down on a deep ball.

The Dragons offense was quick to the punch scoring two touchdowns on 5 plays. Some really long runs and a Kickoff return that was called back. The score should have been more of a 74-21. Now on to week two where the Dragons and Admirals meet for the third straight year in the second round.

Now Monroe, you must have a "lucky rabbits foot" somewhere. Not often a 3 seed wins a close one and the 1 seed gets upset giving you a home playoff game in the second round.

Rubbing it hard...very hard!!!!

Good win for Green tonight from a Monroe Co. Falcon fan good luck against Danville and hope our 2 teams can meet again.

:eek::lol:

Congrats Green Co and good luck this week.

GC is legit. I would not want to play them. They are good!

Yes they are good, but more their are determined! They will not lay down nor will they back away from a fight! The Ads had better get ready for a very tough game. I just hope Green can get the kinks worked out in their defense before they get to Danville or it could be a long night!!!

I think Danville will be ready, they basicaly just practiced their passing game against Metcalf and their top running back didn't even dress for the game, he had a strained ham string. If Danville holds turnovers to a minimum, I like their chances against Green Co.
