Great come back by the Cards tonight. We were down 21-7 in the 2nd, and then 35-13 in the 3rd quarter with 9:26 to play. Hats off to both teams, was a great game.

 

Yes these two team will meet in the first round of the playoffs. The game will be at GRC. This will give GRC homefield advantage, and not that long bus ride.

 

Look for another shoot out in the playoffs. Should be a great game.

Glad to see there was no repeat of the 'Benchclearing Brawl of 2009'! Both teams seemed to be on their best behavior and the referee's did a great job. Hope it holds true next week in Lexington.

The way I take it is, they just got crushed by SK, so A) rebounding from a rough loss has to get their spirits up going in to the playoffs. B) it was a win against the team they're going to face in the first round of the playoffs so that definitely builds their confidence, especially since they're traveling next week they know they can defeat their first round opponent. Over all I'd say it's a huge win because it's out of district against a 6A school. How is it not a huge win for the Camels?

Congrats to the Camels on a big win last night. The game was fantastic and it really could have ended up a blowout instead of going to 2OT. Kremer had to have a huge night; in the 1st half he seemed to be passing at will and scoring with ease.

 

Whatever adjustments GRC made for the 2nd half, they will need to keep those in place. Haven't seen any stats on the game (for either side), but will be interested to see what the final passing yards for Dini and Kremer will be.

Dini threw for 319 yards and three touchdowns, including a 97-yard scoring strike to Pokey Harris in the fourth quarter. Harris caught five passes for 194 yards, including a 65-yard scoring grab from Dini in the opening half.

 

Kremer threw for 423 yards and five touchdowns, and did most of his damage in the first half after Clark crossed the goal line on its first drive. The Camels followed with four straight scores and forced Clark to play catch-up for the remainder of the contest. Kremer also threw a pair of interceptions. Kremer threw for 259 yards and three touchdowns – all to three different receivers – in the opening half.
