I wouldn't read into a game where Highlands beat themselves too much. Trinity will have no problem disposing of Ryle.

 

Maybe you need to watch that film and see how many times during that game Ryle reestablished the line of scrimmage deep into Highland's defense. Also, you might want to check how many players Highlands had laying on the field during the game compared to no one laying on the field for Ryle during the game. Ryle's seniors rose to the occasion. SK is a #2 and Trinity is a #1. So if they both make it to week 4 ( I'm sure Trinity will be there) the game should be at Trinity???

I just studied the KHSAA web site. T would host X in round 3 assuming they both win 2 games. The winner from the regional championship pitting teams from districts with #1 seeds HC and Ryle would host T or X regardless of the seed that wins the region. Higher seed rule for hosting applies only to the first 3 rounds.

Now that you have field turf, home field advantage is long gone. Boone used to have tremendous home field advantage with the sprinklers and all. That's over now.

If Trinity and X play, it will be at PJCS, if X doesn't make it, and Trinity does, Round 3 will be at Trinity. For the semifinals we are on the road regardless.
