Mustang
Brossart simply unable to stop the big play! Holy Cross scores 28 unanswered points following a 7-7 first quarter tie. Mustangs showed signs of life tonight. Jesse Orth had a big night passing and Jacob Elbert had a big night running. Mustangs competed well in 1st and 3rd quarters, were blown out of the 2nd and 4th - Go Figure! On to Frankfort for the Mustangs, and Holy Cross will host Carroll County at Scott H.S. next Friday night. Scott's new facility incredibly nice! Thanks to the Scott admin for permitting us to play there.

SSC
Does HC not have two retreats any more? How does that happen?
nkyfootball
From what I understand they actually have three, but one is during basketball districts and the other is in two weeks which is obviously during football playoffs. I thought there would be kids missing today, but there was one poster on another site that said they were given permission to play and return to the retreat. nkypete
Yes, they do have more than one retreat. However, Arlinghaus is also a basketball player. The second retreat would be in the middle of the district tournament. This weekend was the logical choice since this football game was out of district. Kyle Fuller played well in Jerry's absence. He was 6-10 for 124, 1 TD, 1 INT. He rushed 8 times for 97 yards and had a TD of 53 yards. His older brother, running back Chad, had 12 carries for 117 yards and 3 touchdowns. Josh Jasper had a couple catches and 1 TD. Holy Cross was fairly solid defensively and on special teams. Justin Kohake returned a punt return of 52 yards for a TD. Eric Walker had a "pick 6" of 32 yards. Freshman Jaden Beil showed how he is the future of Holy Cross football with a 54 yarder for a TD late in the game. A solid win for the Indians. History
Congrats Indians! I was a little disappointed in BB. I thought they would show more. Maybe saving it for the playoffs.
