Who wins and why?

Walton should handle these guys. Hopefully learned to come out and play hard after last week

Agreed on that point. They need a better effort than last week.

Eminence should still be playing 8-man if it existed. What an easy schedule for the bearcats this year... Gonna drink some haterade and say it couldnt have been any easier for them to make the playoffs this year and then to possibly draw Bracken in the first round? That team (Bracken) should never be allowed to play in a state playoff, what do they have 3 wins in their program history? Me thinks people are overlooking that and giving to much credit to this staff for their record this year.. Dayton, Ludlow, Gallatin, Eminence, Berea, even Bellevue this year are all sub-par teams in general.. The young men must be stoked though to make the playoffs and I wish the players the best of luck in the coming weeks... Seem like a good group of young men and sounds like they have finally meshed as a team and not individuals playing for the same team. Amazing what maturity can do for a team.. BEARCATS big vs. Eminence....

Walton should win this one. I watched the Eminence / Brossart game. Eminence does have a very nice running back - very big / very strong / very fast / very good hands. But looked like stamina was an issue for him as he had to come out on numerous occasions and seemed to get worn down as game progressed. Walton should win big as Brossart did over Eminence. But Eminence should have a couple of big plays from this kid and maybe keep it semi close for a half before getting worn down.

And they weren't given Bracken County as a playoff gift, they earned that privilege by winning a tough battle against a decent Bellevue team. Walton-Verona is still a very young, small school program; they have a lot of room to grow and improve. But they should be recognized for how far they've come along in such a short period of time, and their efforts this year should not be trivialized.

The Eminence back should not be tired this point in the season. Oh yeah, they don't condition the Warriors and attending practice is up to the players. I saw Eminence players going to the concession stand at half time for a hot dog and coke one time. Can't expect them to be in shape. It's not the players fault. Vaerona should win this one.

This game could be a tough one for WV. Depending on QB for Eminence. If he palys well it could make things tough. I am curious to see how it plays out. Good Luck to both teams.

I too feel Walton Verona has come along way, I have watched them play 4 times last year and this year and they can be proud of their accomplishments and escpecially this year at Walton against Bellevue they playe a very good football game and came to play. I wish them the best going forward and they will only get better as the years progress. JD
