Final

..and the beat goes on.

Good defensive effort for the 'Rocks except for a time in the 2nd quarter when Eastern rushed the ball seemingly at will up the middle. T then stiffened, with the aid of a penalty, and proceeded to pitch the shutout. Not the sharpest game the 'Rocks have palyed but nonetheless a workmanlike effort.

Trinity's Bishop rushed for 201 yards and 3 TD's and Dawkins for 115 and 2 TD's. The Eagles were held to 152 yards. Eastern falls to 4-4. T is 7-1. Next week for T is the District showdown against the Ballard Bruins who stopped Seneca at the 6-yard line with 1:33 left to preserve a 27-21 win. Could it be that both B and T were a little far-sighted in their respective games last night?

I am glad Eastern is now gone from our schedule. They truly act like children in how they treat us football wise. Be gone. No more gate money for you.

The band is going to miss the concession revenue as well. Would you guess that the T crowd doubled the Eastern crowd last night? Kind of felt bad for Eastern's seniors because they were introduced to fairly empty stands before the game.

I was at Big Blue Madness and had to miss. Please give up some details.

I didn't notice any bad treatment last night and I will say that the PA announcer was a big improvement over Seneca's.

Coach Beatty does a great job of preparing his team for the game at hand. He doesn't allow his players to look past the team he is playing that week. It's one week at a time. Eastern gave up the run and we took it! Simple! Saturday, it's time to start prepare for Ballard. The Ballard vs Seneca game was played by two evenly match teams which went down to the wire. Friday nights Trinity Ballard game should be interesting... Trinity-49 Ballard -7.
