Westider, yes they are just as talented, in fact, some of the same talented players of last year! They just aren't being utilized in the positions. Some of the players have been changed around into different positions which is obviously isn't working well. It's not that there isn't enough talent, that's for sure!

I think you've hit it on the head. Looking at stats from last year's stat finals, the Flash lost 3 of the 5 interior linemen on offense.

 

Also lost starting QB, TB, FB and a WR.

 

On defense they lost: 2 LB's, 1 DE, Both DT's, 1 DB.

 

That's 7 starters on offense lost and 6 on Defense. Of that just look at your offensive line that's missing 3 and a first rate Senior Leader in the QB and RB's. It's just the middle of the season and give the Flash some time and they will probably put the pieces together to make another run. :thumb:

Lone Oak is somewhat down.

 

After seeing the ending of the game on ihigh I would say Green County shoplifted a win.

Lone Oak lost 12 to 14 seniors that played a lot last year, so they are not in any way the same team. I agree Lone Oak has played a very soft schedule without playing PT, Mayfield or Murray the tank is empty at this end of the state. Your qb has to be the leader of the team andit hurts that our qb is only a 14 year old freshman. He eventually will be an outstanding qb/leader. I think our play calling is less than desirabe at times.

It had to happen folks. Lone Oak simply couldn't sustain the level of players thay have just "plugged" in over the past three years. I mean seriously, at QB they have gone from Robinson (DI-A, Troy) to Can't remember his name (DI-A, WKU) to Looper (Looked DI-A to me) in a span of THREE years. That is unheard of at that position. They're still good, they're just not what they have been.

 

...and I would say that it's actually an O-line thing more than anything. Last year's O-line was untouchable.
