West by a TD maybe two! Any thoughts?

I look for this to be a close game, which is good given what we've seen so far this year from Russell. Russell has lost games by 22, 16, and 54. They've won games by 29 and 21. As a fan, a single digit margin would be nice and probably good for the team as well. I think this one is a tossup, but I say Russell wins by a field goal 17-14.

Where is this one being played? If memory serves me correct, last year was @ Russell.........but I'm getting old! LOL

What kind of size does Russell have? If they can push West Carter around physically and limit big plays, I think they'll be extremely tough for WC to beat. West is small and fast and from what I've seen they fly to the football really well. But a physical game is their worst nightmare IMO, just because they have virtually no size.

 

Russell is always tough at home, if the game where in Olive Hill I might pick WC just because the scores are always closer there just like last years game. Game will probably decide who gets the 2 seed in the district, so I'd expect both teams will lay everything on the line.

Although imo West has a better shot at winning this one than the ever have I have to pick Russell. Game is at Russell and homecoming imo will make it more tough for WC.

I believe that Homecoming can be a distraction for high school players sometimes. If not homecoming hype, then the ADI has taken care of the hype for the game.
