If my memory is correct about the average on his Strat-o-Matic card from either the 75 or 76 season he hit .307 .

The major league baseball season is 2-3 weeks to long, IMO.

Not bad for the # 8 slot. Sports Illustrated had a great cover in '76 with pictures of Griffey, Rose, Morgan, Perez, Bench, Foster, Concepcion and Geronimo with the headline "Can You Find An Out in This Lineup?"
