I can't go a day without someone talking about it at lunch, on facebook, and etc. It's very exciting. Cincinnati definitely cares for their first place team. That shouldn't be the question. Did that 16,973 count the dogs?

Well when a team does lose very year for a decade, I would interject the word realistic for the bolded. You can't suck as bad as the Reds have for as long as they have and expect the fans to just be giddy and sellout every game. It's a business, and in business when you've lost customers, it's hard to get them back.

Rams usually have very good crowds and have sucked the last three years. the blues are well supported as well.

Now they get into the playoffs, maybe even have a little success, maybe improve the team a little more in the offseason, then perhaps you see an up tick next season in attendance. You don't recover from a drought like the Reds have been through overnight. it doesn't work that way.

September 15, 201016 yr The comparison of Reds and Cards attendance is skewed by one HUGE factor, Season Tickets. The Reds season ticket base has consistently eroded over the last 15 years. It will not come back in one year. Add on top of that, television, school night, opponent and economy and there is no way you will get a good draw for the D'Backs on a Tuesday night in September.
