He's an undervalued fantasy option at this point, IMO. That said, I wouldn't even consider starting him over Shady McCoy in Week One.
September 9, 201016 yr Just finished an ESPN online auction. I didn't want to start a new thread, but here's my team. I like it...I went cheap on the starting QB to offset two stud RB's, but I love Kolb's upside for not a lot of money. QB - Kevin Kolb ($7), Chad Henne ($1) RB - Ray Rice ($52), Michael Turner ($46), Jerome Harrison ($10), LaDainian Tomlinson ($4), Michael Bush ($1) WR - Greg Jennings ($30), Steve Smith (CAR...$15), Jeremy Maclin ($9), Jabar Gaffney ($1), Legedu Naanee ($1), Mike Williams (TB...$1) TE - Jermichael Finley ($10) K - Garrett Hartley ($1) D/ST - Titans ($1) Obviously, I think I got a strong team. I missed on a couple of players I could have got for a good price because I wanted to make sure I had enough money later. That's the thing with the auctions. I could have got Brandon Marshall for about the same as Greg Jennings, but I couldn't pull the trigger at that point because I didn't think I'd get some of these guys as cheap as I did. Other than that, I opted for Maclin instead of Hakeem Nicks...that was a tough call, but both were about the same price. And, had I known, I certainly could have upgraded my defense. But, nobody has a 1-2 punch at RB as good as Rice and Turner.
