My parents live in Eastern Ky and as stated before , they have had plenty of rain. Here in Winchester, we are dry now. I am having to water my fall garden about every day.

Here in Danville my grass is as green as it has always been. Just by looking out through out my yard this morning, there is water standing on the ground under the gutters from dew coming off the house. The dog is drenced from just going out to the bathroom. I guess the dew is the reason, because in the past week it has not rained.

2007 was worse than this IMO.

 

In my neighborhood people are putting out their sprinklers to water their grass. Me? I prefer to put out heat lamps.

2008 was the year, and it is not even close to as bad as it was then.

Yesterday was the first day in well over a month the temperature gauge did not hit 90 degrees. Today is beautiful outside.

We've had plenty of rain in Bardstown. Been dry the past week, but otherwise there's no complaints for the local farmers. Most tobacco and corn look pretty good; but I've noticed other spots in Ky. where the crops haven't had as much rain and look rougher.

My crabgrass is flourishing. No issues with rain in the easternmost spot of our state. Most of the rain over KY ends up in eastern KY anyway, because West Virginia sucks!
