God IMO will not let you be born gay. God gives you the choice to make the decsion. I will never believe God would make someone gay when it is condemened in the Bible.

 

So most gay males choose to talk in a feminine voice? Most gay males choose to have very feminine mannerisms? I know I can't control my mannerisms, they're innate.

I think it is entirely possible (and Biblical) to say that people are born with sinful desires of all kinds. As I stated earlier, the Bible speaks of us having a sinful nature--an inclination to do what is wrong. That doesn't excuse sinful behavior, but it does help to explain it IMO. The message of the New Testament is to restrain that nature. The Old Testament talks about how "folly is bound up in the heart of a child." So to me, the sinful nature is just what it is--a nature inclined to sin. What Jesus offers is a new nature, via the Holy Spirit, to help resist the sin nature.

 

But I think to say that God wouldn't allow someone to be born with a sinful craving is a bit erroneous. Babies are born all the time addicted to cocaine or some other drug, and they haven't chosen that. It's been forced upon them. We look at that as an extreme example, and to an extent it is, but I believe every human is born with that kind of pull toward sin.

 

At the same time, in the above example, we do the best we can to get those children off the addiction because it's too harmful.

I applaude the school it is their right to turn her away. What did the parents think would happen?

You applaud the school? Of course it is their "right", but - and I know this is a cliche - What would Jesus do?

 

Would he tell the little girl to come back when her parents quit "sinning"?
