Please whatever you guys do...do not get this thread shutdown...its been good to us this week lol.

Which part?

The Reds will be in second place by this time next week?

They have no chance against Cain?

They only have a chance against Sanchez if he starts walking everybody?

The Reds will get swept by LA?

You do realize that you've stated the Reds will likely finish the road trip 1-5, right?

That is exactly what I'm saying. Do you really think that's beyond the realm of possibility?

Patrick Starr...friendly wager? If the Reds win one game against the Giants, I get to pick your avatar. If not, you can have fine.

I didn't say they would get swept by the Giants. Now if you want to make the wager on the Reds winning 2 out of 3 I'm in.

Anyone would be dumb to think it isn't possible. However, I wouldn't guarantee it either way. You're talking about one team that has played really well most of the year, especially the last two series', against the Dodgers who haven't played well all season and the Giants who are by no means elite.

You are guaranteeing failure for this team, I don't see it. But to answer your question, yes, it is possible. As possible as them going 6-1......

The Reds better hope that the Giants beat up on the Cardinals this weekend because the Dodgers will sweep the Reds. They haven't won in LA since 2005. They have gone 0-12 the past 4 years.

Sorry I didn't mean against the Giants...I meant against the Dodgers.

Sure I'll take that bet

Bailey (2-2 4.92) vs Monasterios (2-3 4.91, in starts)

Cueto (11-3 3.38) vs Billingsley (9-7 3.66)

Arroyo (13-7 3.87) vs. Kershaw (11-7 3.03)

The only game the reds don't have the pitching advantage, IMO, is Sunday.

So let's hear your prediction. You guys sure take things personal. You would think I slept with your wife the way some of you are reacting. By the way I'm a life long Dodgers fan.

My prediction is 3-3. At worst 2-4.

I got it.

Got what? You ignored me so you shouldn't even have seen what the bet was.

I am in no way taking this personal. I'm not upset or even bothered. I just think you are wrong.

I said before the road trip that they would go 6-3 so 3-3 would be my prediction. And I think that would be a very good road trip out west.

Got what? You ignored me so you shouldn't even have seen what the bet was.

Yeah, but I quoted you everytime, so he probably saw it that way. Either way, you can kiss that pink star goodbye.
